What Happens When I Stop Reading

When I stop reading, I stop blogging. I stop thinking. I stop coming up with innovative ideas.

Since Christmas 2010, I started reading again. I watch 2-hours of television a day – and even that I feel is too much. Outside of that, I read.

And since I’m very particular about which events I attend, books fill the gap. I go through 4-5 books per month and when I do, I feel smarter.

But over the past 6-weeks, I’ve focused my attention on filling a program (which sold out 30-days before the training starts). I’m also putting the finishing touches on my second book.

In that time, I’ve had little time to read. The only book I’ve been able to get my hands on is the Bible. I love the Bible. I discover new gems all the time. But without other books to supplement what I’m reading, I don’t feel challenged. I don’t feel God speaking truths to me.

And hence the reason this blog has remained voiceless. Static. Stale. And so, I went to the library, I bought some ebooks through Kobo and I’m getting set to unleash a wave of intellectuals torrents.

Get ready.
