The Dangers of Being a Negaholic

If happiness is a choice, why do so many choose to hang on to negativity for so long?

I led a discussion on this topic on Saturday at church by looking at the story of Absolam, David’s 4th son and 3rd in line to the throne.

Because Absolam was addicted to unhappiness, he missed out on building a great dynasty. Instead, he’s remembered in the Bible for all the wrong reasons.

Listen to the 20-minute non-downloadable audio clip below to see if you recognize yourself in Absolam’s story.
