In Part 1, I shared the first 3 ways witchcraft is showing up in your business…
1. Witches (entrepreneurs) manipulate using spells
2. Witches (entrepreneurs) put something above or equal to God
3. Witches (entrepreneurs) focus on self indulgance (the needs of the flesh)
In Part 2, I share 1 more…
4. Witches (entrepreneurs) promise a future that they can’t guarantee
Being positive is great and so too is thinking positively. Before The Secret and laws of attraction, the Bible was the first to promise that a renewed mind and a change in our thinking will transform us (Romans 12:2). But this becomes dangerous if we start to rely on visualization to not only project ourselves to another place, but also to invent a future that we just don’t have control over.
To aid in visualization, witches will use wine, incense, essential oils and even soft drugs to help the body and mind relax. Many witches will use leaves, crystal balls, cards and other items to help them read what will take place in the future. This is no different from entrepreneurs who use flowery language as the hook in their marketing copy to invent a future that will be missed should the prospect not invest in the $47 ebook or $497 homestudy program.
Since Jesus did not know the day or the hour of the Lord’s return (Matthew 24:36), how then can human beings have any knowledge of what future will be created should the customer buy (or not buy) the program or service they’re offering? Stay away from trying to guarantee results in the future as this is a form of witchcraft that faith-led entrepreneurs should not engage in.
Tomorrow, I conclude this series with how you can move beyond using witchcraft using the promises that God has already granted to you.
